On the return sail after a fantastic day sail, the wind strengthened causing small waves on the surface. Luckily when looking back I saw the shore dinghy taking water onboard. I quickly got my mate behind the helm and after heaving the shore dinghy close enough to the stern so I could quickly climb in I started to bail the water out. After successfully bailing the water out, the trick was how to get safely back onboard.
